I can't believe that summer will soon come to the end, and we are welcoming a new season!
In a few more days, September will be here. Do you know what that means? New York Fashion Week and other cities' other crazy fashion weeks are starting everywhere! Unfortunately, this is another year that yet again I won't be able to attend, and it totally sucks to say "No, I am not going" when my blogger babes asked me if I will be there... :(
But I am so looking forward to seeing all the oh-so fashionable street style photos and my friends’ updates freshly from NYFW to get inspired and to enjoy it virtually. While I am in Seattle I always create some NYFW inspired looks because that's how I can at least feel the vibe! Plus, even if you are not going to Fashion Week, that shouldn't stop you from dressing up as if you were there, right? Therefore, today's look is all about what I would rocking during NYFW!
I finally grabbed
, and they are one of my staple pieces now! They are super easy to style with everything and a perfect item to elevate a look to very chic and sophisticated. I decided to go with a
because you can never go wrong with stripes as they instantly add a touch of refinement. The top is actually NOT designed as an off-the-shoulder look, but I styled it that way to add more a flattering effect! I wanted to play with some color to add boldness to this look, and topping it off with reds was totally the right decision!! Not just one color, it's double! I purposely matched my
with my red bucket bag! I really like how this same color matching combo completed the entire look!

Ever since this season of NYFW has kicked off, I have been so thrilled as I look at the street snaps, and I can't get enough of how amazing they rock it in their killer jackets, layer techniques, colorful hues, and more! Obviously my
is exploding because I've got tons of inspiration just by seeing them. The sad fact, though, is that it makes me really wish I could witness them in person!
Of all those fashionistas on the NY streets, I loooove how Aimee of

. She killed it! Wearing something inspired by menswear could definitely be one of my Fashion Week attire options. So that's what it is all about in today's look because I wanna be there, even if only in spirit! Wink-wink!
I've longed to style this type of look for a long long time, and I finally made it happen! You have no idea how much I love this look! I tried to keep it simple yet bold at the same time by pairing a turtleneck with tailored wide leg pants. I actually got this blazer a couples of years ago in the menswear section at American Eagle, and it's kinda funny that it fits me perfectly. After all, I am super petite! Topping it off with a fedora is definitely a must when you wanna go for a masculine look, and since I have a long hair, I styled it in low ponytail with straightened hair. I still wanted a smattering of lady-like flair, so I finished the look off with red lips, jeweled earrings, and

I have been so inspired by all the different looks people are coming up with for Fashion Weeks, and even though I couldn't attend any of them (one day for sure, thought!!), this outfit is one I would definitely want to rock! It's bright, bold and surely a head-turner.
I actually have done
the all cobalt blue look during last summer
, and I absolutely loved how it came out. So I decided to try another one with a totally different vibe, using the same top, which I am so very fond of. In addition to that, '
Bright Color
' is one of the top F/W trends I am intrigued by. You can't miss if you try it out!
None of the pieces are new here besides this gorgeous pendant necklace. I really love wearing the new seasonal items and I get excited just to find them online or in stores. But, there is nothing wrong with oldies, so if you have something you really adore and think that you can wear it all time, then go for it!!! I pulled everything out of my closet to achieve this bold and vivid hues ensemble. I was debating on a skirt style or pants style. Since I wanted to create an elevated and more classical touch, I decided to go for wide leg pants.
Sadly enough , I have short legs which makes it harder to pull of wide leg pants. However, I am always up for challenges and always want to explore new solutions to these problems. That's when I came across a great way to wear them, especially if you have short legs like mine: paring the platform sky-high shoes! The higher, the better! (a wink emoji!)
I added a shocking orange tote bag to compliment the whole look, and wow... the combination of bright blue and bright orange! I have never done it previously, yet it totally worked! I can't wait to try more bold color styles in the upcoming months!
Although I said I couldn't attend any of Fashion Weeks, I am more than happy and thrilled to go to
Downtown Seattle Rocks the Runway

Fashion Week Is Around The Corner, What Will You Wear?
Tons of fashion lovers have been more than excited for what's gonna happen in the next few weeks!
That's right!!!! Fashion week will soon begin!!!
Just as some background, September is the month when many cities feature a fashion week to introduce the next seasons' clothing lines. You can find out when fashion week is held at the most famous locations
!
NYFW is one of the most famous fashion events, not to mention FW in Miran and Paris. Everyone is just dying to attend, including me!! Unfortunately I can't go to NYFW this year.. It's a bummer for sure, but I will be definitely going in the next few years! Although I am not able to attend NYFW, I was privately invited to the
happening in Seattle, and I will be there for sure! They will be showcasing the best in global independent fashion design, featuring over 30 designers including: womenswear, menswear, eco, swimwear and accessories! Also, there will be a media brunch the next day! It's a great opportunity for me to connect with new peers and colleagues!
The last time I went to a fashion show was some time ago, and it was not the best experience. Therefore, I am extremely thrilled about going to this one! Plus, this will be pretty exclusive and legit, as they only accommodate only press, media, bloggers, retailers, buyers and stylists for their shows. I just know that this show will give me some pleasant experience, and I am really looking forward to meeting a ton of new people at the media brunch!!!!!
Now I have to decide what I should wear for the shows and at brunch... I've been researching for the trends and hot pieces, yet I am having so much trouble deciding what to wear. Have you ever been in a similar situation?
