Hi LOVEs!!!
Long time no post~! I am so sorry for being MIA for a week, but my mini vacation to D.C. was pretty amazing!! It was definitely a much-needed trip, and I was so happy to see my blogger bae Diana of Different Colors & Different Styles on the last day with her sweet husband!! I am thinking about doing a recap post, but if you are wondering what my trip looked like, come check it out on my Insta!

I am thrilled to share with you guys the new fun yet super practical denim shopping destination called Fitcode (currently Beta version)! I was introduced a few weeks ago and had the opportunity to experience the site. To those who don't know what it is:

The quick and dirty is that women can access Fitcode from their computer, tablet or mobile device to take the fit quiz and determine their Fitcode. The fit quiz—four questions— helps Fitcode learn about your body type and current fit headaches to best determine which of the nine unique Fitcodes is right for you.
Once a Fitcode is established, you can browse a curated set of denim from partner brands directly on the site, under Denim Boutique. Or, for more options, you can also install the Fitcode plugin to shop on the retail sites (currently only available for Chrome). The plugin creates a Fitcode icon overlay on recommended styles, size and my favorite, fit notes about each pair of jeans.
Fitcode is continuously expanding its list of denim partners, and currently, users are able to use the plugin on the following brand and retail sites such as: 7 for all Mankind, Citizens of Humanity, J Brand, JOE’s Jeans, Nordstrom, Paige, and Not Your Daughter’s Jeans (NYDJ)

As stated, it was the easiest and quickest denim shopping EVER. It took me about 15 mins to hunt for my jeans! That has never happened to me before. You can literally rely on Fitcode to find the best jeans for you by your specific preference and body type. When it comes to shopping for jeans, it's such a pain in the butt because of my height and petite figure. However, Fitcode is a life savor! I was so happy to get my hands on my first pair of J Brand jeans, and I've fallen so much in love with them! The fit is amazing, the comfort level is breathtaking, and most of all I don't have to tailor the hems like I normally have to! Another plus point is that they ship so fast. They came in within 5 days of my order being processed. If you are a denim lover, you should definitely try them out!! You will quickly see what I am talking about here. The official launch will be within a couple of months! How thrilling!

To style my new J Brand jeans, I decided to go super basic with newly added items, which is this Topshop V-neck tee, and a faux suede jacket.  Whenever I go for a minimal style, I always make sure to play with some accessories because they can change up the whole vibe. I added some silver accessories from Trendhood & Lavisha around my neck. Pairing a white tee and silver accessories is my new summer go-to look! I first chose pumps to complete my look, but I changed my mind to pair with strappy sandals for a more seasonally appropriate ensemble. This look convinced me to try more basic looks because, to my surprise, I am obsessed!!

Hopefully, you will get to try out Fitcode and come across a perfect denim you've been looking for!
Enjoy the sunshine dolls!

Hi LOVEs!!!!!
After coming back from Portland for a quick mini trip, I decided to do another short trip to D.C. with my friend! How exciting!!! One of my resolutions this year is to travel as much as I can. It feels so great to check this off from my list within half a year!! I didn't expect to do two trips in one month, either! I will stay in DC for only 4 nights, but it will be A TON OF FUN! Last Sunday one of my fans sent me a snap asking whether or not I am doing a meet & greet in D.C.! It literally brought me to tears because I seriously thought that this type of thing would only happen after I became a BIG blogger, like Kayture and The Blond Salad! But guys.... this is actually happening! Even more excited to go to D.C. now!

Alright, on to today's look! I got this khaki tee from ZARA, and it's been one of my stable pieces since then! It's so comfy and the color will never go out of style. There are so many ways to style a simple tee from casual to sophisticated. I love switching things up from regular black or white tees to this khaki one. Even though I am almost 30, (Yes! I am hitting 29 this November! ) I am still in love with wearing a denim mini skirt during summer, especially when I get tired of wearing denim shorts. So I put them together with a beaded belt as an accent. This combo definitely works well as-is, but I threw on a boyfriend blazer for a more polished look. I've been wearing these killer sporty-inspired sandals I snagged recently from JustFab, and I was blown away by how they can go with any look! Such an amazing pair to create a color-blocking ensemble or simply for a pop of color!

Make sure to follow me along on Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat (@fashionsitaika) for D.C. fun!
Have a wonderful Tuesday, cuties!

Hi LOVEs! Happy FriYAY!
I just couldn't be happier with the super lovely weather in Seattle lately. I think everyone is so ready to enjoy the summer weather. Just in time for summer, I received this extremely lovely cami dress from Style Moi. It is my final look featuring them.
I am a petite girl (5 feet flat tall) with a long torso and short legs. So that makes it quite difficult to find a perfect dress in general, especially a dress that is 6" above the knees ( the most flattering length) So when I found this dress at Style Moi, I knew I should get it. It's become one of the key dresses in my wardrobe! Aaaand guess what? The straps are adjustable, so you can actually change the dress length as you wish. It is just perfect for both daily use, or as part of a vacation ensemble!

There are tons of way to style this sweet dress, but this time I paired it with lace-up sandals for a more feminine touch, then I put on a straw fedora because it's a summer essential that is also a practical way to protect my face from the harsh sunlight!
As for my bag, it is a very special one for me. My dearest grandpa gifted it to me some10 years ago as a souvenir from Thailand. He was surely keen on my style sense even at that time, and this bag totally goes with the look even now.  Thank you so much Oji-chan ( "Grandpa" in JP!)!!!

What's your staple summer dress? Have a lovely week-end babes ♥

Hi LOVEs!!!! How was your weekend?
Here is the second look featuring Style Moi, one of my new beloved fashion online destination. Can I tell you something? The word can't express how much I love this versatile oh-so lovely off shoulder top!!!!! I'd been dying to get my hands on a summer top like this, but I just didn't have a chance to encounter a piece I really want to wear or fit my petite body perfectly. As I mentioned on the previous post, they offer a variety range of size options, and I got it in XS which is super hard to find the size in the US clothing stores.
This top is so soft and comfortable, and you can rock it from day to night. I even used as a cover top when I went to beach thanks to its sheer fabric!! On top of the off-shoulder design, these bell sleeves are what makes this top much cuter!

I styled it with high waisted denim shorts and my new summer wedge sandals for a chic effect. Even though the top is just as cute itself, I wanted to glam it up a little more with some gold jewelry. I layered a collar necklace and multirow necklace. This is such an unexpected combination, but I am actually loving it!  I was gifted this little pretty crystal ear cuff from my blogger babe, Tiffany at a blogger brunch. I adore her store called t + j Design and so happy to own this cute cuff because sometimes I don't want to over-accessorize myself, yet need some bling, which this one is the perfect piece for the occasion!

I hope you like how I style this Style Moi off-shoulder top! What is your summer-ready look?
Have a lovely week, dolls!

Hi LOVEs!
I hope you all enjoyed the weekend with its breathtakingly amazing weather! I really wanted to take advantage of it, so went to Alki Beach with my friends and was so excited to finally get some fun summer time wearing a bikini by the beach! Of course we took a bunch of pictures and videos on Snapchat (@fashionsitaika)!!! After that, we decided to get some delicious dinner at Duke's Chowder House! Our table was on the roof top, and we got to see the sunset while eating award-winning chowder! It was a pure bliss! Luckily I am now living closer to the beach, like only 45 mins by bus! That means I am really looking forward to doing this over and over again during the summer! What did you guys do?

Ever since I realized how styling can definitely expand the versatility of my wardrobe without buying new clothes or by reusing whatever I have in my closet, I always enjoy making different looks by using some of the same pieces. I am not wearing anything new in today's look, (except a couple of lovely jewelry from Rebecca Minkoff & JJ Caprices [Use code "aikaslovecloset" for 15%off!]) but challenged myself to recreate a different outfit from a chic look to a super casual look!

I've been obsessed with a combo of crop tops and high waisted bottoms lately. I used to not like pairing a denim jacket with denim jeans, but I figured that it's one of the great way to look so chic! I kept the look the same hue by adding these blue metallic sandals and my all-time fave white clutch. Although the crop top is a bit casual, having these gorgeous gem earrings around my face help to elevate the look!

Thank you so much for stopping by! Wishing you a wonderful new week to kick off!

Hi LOVEs!!! Hope your week has been going lovely so far!
GUYS! I have constantly been so thrilled over the last two weeks and have been feeling surreal, even now! This mermaid hair, how dreamy and cute it is! Any words can't describe how freaking happy I am to finally have THE dream color!!!!!! Since I have super *BLACK* asian hair, I would have never thought that I could have done this color EVER. I love how all three colors are so beautifully blended with each other, and it's way too cool that depending on where you look from, the colors are changed! It's like a too-go-to-be-true feeling, but it's all mine! I can't wait to share with you guys more looks and hair styles with this new hair color!
In case you wonder, I got my hair color done at Foxy Cut in downtown Seattle with Miguel. If you are interested in coloring in a sick color, I fully recommend my friend's salon! He is so talented! (obviously!!!) It's summer, let's play with colors~!!!!!

I wore this ensemble a few weeks ago at #ShoedazzleSaturday, a blogger brunch with my fellow bloggers. (I love blogger brunch! <3 <3 ) It's my kind of dressing up in a pair of pants. I first chose these awesome blush printed pants. Then, I thought it could be fun to style them with a color-blocking outfit, so I picked metallic sandals and vivid green bag to create the look while I kept the rest of it in basic colors since my hair color adds a few tons already.
I am all about details. As the summer approaches, I enjoying dressing my arms up by stacking up cute bracelets. So when Carley, the founder of Bourbon and Bowties reached out to me and said she loves my style and wanted to send her pieces, I was more than pleased! Their jewelry are so unique yet very adorable and eye candy, and they are also handmade by local men and women. You can check more about them here. They handpicked me three lovely bracelets which are Turquoise Slab Bangle, Zebra Bangle, and Fossil Quartz. I've been in love with them so much since the day I received. If you are a jewelry lover like myself, you surely adore their pieces!

Hope you love my new hair color as well as today's color-blocking look!
Have a nice one, sweeties

Hi LOVEs! Happy June!
If you have been following my blog over the past two years, you probably remember the wildest hairstyle I had in my life - A side shaved look! Since I always take extra care to dress up from head to toe, the hair style and hair color I have at the time definitely influences my outfits. When I had a side- shaved hair, my clothing style was more mixed with grunge and street style, and I LOVED IT! Because I enjoy trying out any kind of style, I had a lot of fun styling them! Yet, after I decided to grow the shaved part, I again slowly switched what I wear. So it's been forever since I last wore a grunge and street mixed style!
This Alexander Wang x H&M T-shirt dress is still by far my favorite, even though it seems like the hit is fading away and everyone is now super thrilled with the new H&M collaboration brand. But this dress is perfect for me to just throw on and there is a lot of ways to style it! For this edgy street style look, I paired it with some strap heels to give a touch of sexiness and then I added a bunch of gold accessories. I know that camo jackets are kinda burned out, but I've kept this jacket because it's a versatile item. It looked amazing with the dress and added a bold and edgy vibe, which I further accented with some dark purple lipstick.

Let's talk about a bit of my new favorite hair do! I am totally in love with the topknot hairdo. It was actually the first time for me to try it, but I was amazed by how easy it is to style and how cute it can look! I really love how this topknot hair adds a playful effect to the look! What do you think about this hair?

By the way, I apologize if there are a lot of pictures to look through today! James and I were just so stoked with the location, lighting, and how everything is turned out on the camera! It was so hard for me to narrow them down! Hopefully you enjoy them, though!

Have a lovely day, cutie pies!
