Fall in Seattle means we have to expect a lot of rainy days. As a blogger, it really annoys me because I have no choice but to postpone scheduled shoots over and over again. On the other side, I adore rainy days... The smell of the rain calms me down and it sounds so relaxing. Whenever I am stuck at home due to the weather, I always make sure to keep myself busy. And one of the favorite things to do is finding some style inspiration from everywhere I can... From hair to home decor - mostly via Internet, Pinterest & Tumblr. During the midst of Fashion Week madness, nothing is as inspiring to check out all the unique yet impressive street style looks from New York to Paris!
So I thought it would be fun to share today's "fashion week" inspired look, which I styled this gorgeous & tailored blazer dress from Yuna Yang.
Needless to say, the color is just so striking. It's a perfect piece to add a pop of color to your wardrobe because we tend to wear dark colors during this season. Also, I am all about details, so I can't be more in love with how this blazer dress is made. I am so amazed by Yuna's craftsmanship of traditional couture with a modern perspective. On her NYFW runway, she designed this dress in cobalt blue and orange, and I am obsessed with the bold blue one so much!
I styled it with a lot of layered jewelry and studded pumps to add a little bit of an edgy vibe. When in doubt, choose a dark lipstick (mine is Black Cherry) to top off the vibe! This trick never fails! Finished the look with a khaki mini bag because the color is one of the trending hues for fall!
