I am so happy that I’ve kept this amazing checkered blazer that I got years ago at Nordstrom, because as you all know, checkered blazers are one of the H O T T E S T trends right now! I don’t believe I am the only person who frequently finds it quite difficult to dress for Fall due to the moody weather.
But throwing on a blazer is one of the best solutions when you don’t know what to wear. It goes with dresses, skirts, trousers, jeans, literally everything. You name it. You can even pair a blazer with a jogger to make your super laidback look to a little bit of luxe and polished one. Or, wear it as a dress. I know why this piece is super trend right now - it’s a timeless staple, so flattering and versatile.
If you haven’t gotten your hands on it yet, you definitely should. You can wear it anyway you like!! Go your own way! This time, I went for a vintage rock band tee and high-waisted jeans that I DIYed the hems on my own!! My legs are comparatively shorter, so I always need to either cut the hems or return them to the store. What a pain in the butt! Who can relate to this?
So instead of returning them, I decided to create a pair that's a bit more personalized - by chopping off the hems and create the perfect pair of frayed jeans!
I completed the look mixing silver and gold accessories along with my favorite burgundy fur bag. During fall and winter, when in doubt, go for a fur bag! Seriously, I use this tip all the time, and surprisingly it works every time! This new Swarovski Remix bracelet iis such a lovely everyday piece. I am so obsessed! I haven’t taken it off since day 1 and It’s so fun to mix with other pieces of the Remix Collection from which I recently added the silver Eye Symbol bracelet.
