Hi LOVEs!
Whenever I feel too lazy to dress, one of my go-to solutions is wearing an oversized band tee!! I have been especially in love with this vintage band tee that I found at a thrift store. I shared a look, rocking this same tee back in May, so I decided to re-work it in a fall-appropriate way.
The best way to style an oversized tee right now is layering with a sheer top underneath and throwing an oversized chunky cardigan or denim jacket over the tee. Believe me, the sheer top makes a huge difference in terms of keeping you warm! Just like when you wanna wear a skirt in cold weather, but you don’t wanna be outside with bare feet! Also, wearing a sheer top gives an edgy vibe to the outfit!
I didn’t wanna look too street style, so I chose to team with my all-time favorite newsboy hat and suede choker. If you follow me on Instagram, you know chokers are totally my thing, and this Free People Double Crossed Suede Choker is my recent addition to my collection. I adore it so much! I have a big head with short shoulders, so a thick choker really helps to balance it out. I love how it ties with the band tee, too!
I topped off the look with a pair of floral printed booties (my current fave black boots!!) and a fun embroiled bag!
Oh, and if you are a huge sucker for 70s style like myself, you can simply add color-tinted sunglasses! Seriously, so instant yet so trendy!
