It’s so crazy to think that it’s already November, and there’s only one month left in 2016! In two months, it will be 2017. Can you believe that?! Time definitely flies!
For the last several weeks, my life has been crazy hectic, and I didn’t have a chance to share my last two looks from Bellevue Fashion Week. Yes, it was almost two months ago, but better late than never, right?
Since the holiday season is around the corner, I thought it would be a great idea to turn them into holiday-inspired looks. Because why not? ❤️
Maybe a little early to think of outfits for holiday parties right now, but I always procrastinate on making outfits and end up stressing out at the last minute. So I hope you can relate and that my look will help to plan your partywear ahead of time!
One of the trends you can’t really get away from is velvet pieces. From dresses to suits to bags to shoes, anything in velvet works perfectly for A N Y occasion. It adds just the right amount of luxury and elevates the look to the next level. People tend to pick laces, sequins, or sheers for holiday attires, but this season, try to investigate some pieces in velvet! You will feel fresh and so trendy!
I got mine from ZARA, and I am so glad that I chose this blue velvet top to go with my old quilted floral print mini skirt. I already knew I was going to rock this exceptional Swarovski statement necklace and rock-size ring, and I can’t get enough of how the necklace pops over the top! Swarovski jewelry is so beautiful and stunning during the holiday season. Seriously, I was overjoyed with their spectacular necklace and ring.
When it comes to a party look, having fun is the key. It’s all about being playful to feel the festive vibe! Instead of go-to black sandals or pumps, swap for them to show-stopping brighter pairs, like my silver pumps or glittery or sequined sandals!
I wanted to add a modern twist, so I decided to team with sheer ankle socks, and I adore the outcomes! Definitely making my whole look so fun and on-trend! Have you guys ever thought to try this socks and pumps combo?
