Hi LOVEs! How are ya?
I wore this outfit when I went to SEE Eyewear launch party a while ago... I definitely love the combo of lace on lace. I was pleased with outcome and that the whole outfit looks like one complete dress with two different patterns combined on top and bottom. Because of one-color hue, it helps one look taller by creating an "I" figure. Thanks to the lace patterns, the skin is peeking through the clothes -- emphasizing sex appeal. I think it's safe to say that all black could be worn in Spring if skin is still showing. The lace skirt is adjustable, so I made it a midi-skirt instead of a maxi-skirt so that I could wear black socks to go with. Wearing ankle socks in any shoes is such a great idea, especially during the season when you can't wear boots because it's too hot, and you can't wear pumps or sandals either because it's too chilly. Since this outfit was for an eyewear brand launch party, I mixed a pair of black flamed fake glasses for a little playful accent and then accessorized with silver jewelry.

Now that the season is switching to spring, and it's time to let the dark clothes sit back in the closet and bring out the bright colors to play. I love black biker jackets, but I needed to update my wardrobe with some new dazzling pieces. Then, I picked up this insanely awesome pastel biker jacket from ZARA. Seriously it keep blowing me away every time I wear it. Everything is just on point! Beautiful pastel blue, its design is a bit of boxy structure that helps to stay on my narrow shoulders when wearing it over-the-shoulder. Just wearing this jacket alone is super trendy! I am even obsessed with its back silhouette. Because the jacket is pastel blue, I paired a watch with a blue bungle to match and make it pop out of the all-black ensemble. 

Whenever you are struggling with  which shoes you should go for to complete the look, pick a pair of nude shoes. You'll never go wrong with them, and they are magically harmonized with any outfit and any occasion!

End-of-Summer Tribal

I was very pleased to receive a care page from Charlotte Russe (Thanks Ryan!!!!!! <3 ) in the beginning of August because CR is one of my favrite stores. Until now, I had only bought shoes and accessories there; I had not yet purchased clothing there. So the package was a pleasant surprise to me as there were many pieces that fit my style so well, and this tribal dress was my first pick!!!  I am so excited to finally blog about their outfits!

To start, I've  never attempted to wear a tribal print before, but this dress totally turned me onto tribal prints. It's super fun and dazzling because of the mix of colors and patterns. Another hot part of this dress is its double straps and the big cut-out details in the back. I just love these details because they bring out the decollate and the back. You ca see what I am talking about through the pictures, right?

The dress is a bit longer than I usually wear. So, I added the wide belt to adjust the length and also to balance top and bottom since I am short in stature and have short legs. Then, I paired it up with my new Steve Madden black platforms to add some height and make my look more flattering. 

In order to elevate this tribal-print look, I layered up a bunch of chunky bracelets with colors and threw on this lovely straw hats, styling my hair up into a low bun to show off the beautiful back details.

Although the Seattle summer still heats up our daytime, it gets chilly when the night comes. This easy thin fabric green cardigan from Now I Style did a great job to keep me warm in the brisk weather. Just wearing a cardigan, either thin or chunky, is such an awesome and handy way to transition a summer look into a fall look. By the way -- I've became an official style blogger on the Now I style site! I will talk about it more in a future outfit post!)

Sorry I haven't posted anything for a week! Recently everyday has been so hectic as I am going to perform flags at the Sea Fair held this Saturday! For the last month, I've been practicing for the event every weekend from the morning to the evening, so I have needed time to recover! But from next week, I will promise to update more often! :)

I am completely obsessed with this tropical print dress! It's from Forever 21 and its price was surprisingly affordable! I am so glad to have it now because I had a hard time deciding whether to buy this or another awesome dress. Seriously...The pictures don't do it justice... I adore its beautiful print and colors... They are so flattering when the breeze  blows. More importantly, the texture is amazingly comfortable!
 I've never owned any tropical garments until I got this, and this amazing dress is definitely a perfect summer piece! I can wear it from day to night, changing accessories and jewelry. It really makes me want to go on a vacation and take a trip to somewhere tropical with this! haha

I paired it up with another great pair of black lace up heels (I am so in love with them!) and the retro-looking glasses to create an elegant chic accent to this very playful dress. Because the dress is very flattering and sways when blown, I didn't do anything to my hair. I want it to flutter in the wind as well. To complete the motif, I added some earrings that resemble sails of a boat, to also sway to the wind and add to the breezy look.
