Hi LOVEs!!!!
Happy Friday! Today, I am taking a little break from a regular style post and decided to share with you something different: something bold, mysterious, yet alluring. As well as few personal thoughts.
Seattle has been rainy, rainy, rainy, gloomy, rainy, and gloomy. This is normal weather for this time of the year. It’s a bit of depressing, isn’t it? Sorry I lied, it’s actually extremely depressing. I had to cancel or postpone a bunch of photoshoots due to this yucky weather. If I had a car, I would drive somewhere. Unfortunately, I don’t, so I have to be stuck at home... 😭 All I could do is marathon movies and Japanese dramas and surf the internet while drinking my favorite tea. It sounds like fun, but you wouldn’t wanna do this every single freaking day…
So I chose to clean up and sort out my laptop and hard drive, then I found this set of photoshoot I did with a great friend of mine, Jason when we shot my freshly colored lavender hair a while ago.
The day we shot this was actually raining, too. Oh well, Seattle… We planned a regular shoot for my looks, and we both were so excited. But that awful weather didn’t stop us from creating something amazing! So we spontaneously came up with the idea of shooting my new hair and a boudoir photoshoot. To my surprise, the results came out so beautiful and lovely. I was totally blown away.
Of course, I can’t complain about the set of my hair shoot at all, but I was extremely pleased with how this one came out. I have to admit, this is one of the best ones I’ve ever done for a long time… High five, Jason! Loooove the combination of the cozy chunky turtleneck sweater with black lace lingerie. Like hey, who doesn’t adore a cozy knit and sexy undies, right? They are everyone's favorites!
Even though I define myself as a fashion/style blogger, I always find myself enjoying modeling. It’s kind of my jam. Of course, I am not a professional, nor don’t belong to any agency. I don’t even have REAL modeling experiences. No one taught me how to pose, how to convey through the lens. However, being photographed and shooting boudoir - something like this - really helps me embrace myself more.
If you have ever read About Me, you know I have a bad habit of self-deprecation. No one can be perfect. I have always been wishing that I was a little taller, that my legs were much longer, and that I had bigger boobs. I believe, a lot of people out there is having a hard time loving themselves. It’s actually so difficult. Believe it or not, I’ve struggled with that too.
Things got slowly better after I began this blogging journey because this is what I love. What I love is to express myself. Because if create things that you love, there will always be people who love it too.
Through this blogging experience, I’ve learned very important things as a human being: how to accept who I truly am, and not to be afraid to show it off. I’ve met so many friends and supporters who have more faith in me than myself and give me confidence in what they say about me… That’s why I love to share what I am very fond of, which is my fashion, my style, and anything I create.
By all means, I have no idea where you are coming from, but hopefully, today’s post gives you some inspiration, brings you a little sparkle to your heart, helps you to have the courage to love yourself more, or just simply enjoy the images as much as I do.
Thank you so much for always taking the time to read my blog, even leave lovely and thoughtful comments. You guys are truly my source of inspiration to keep pursuing my dreams and push myself harder to make them happen, even as I have to face a lot of struggles and obstacles along the way. Love you endlessly...❤︎
