In about a week the autumn season is officially kicking off, so I will just hang on to the last bit of summer with some of my favorite summer pieces. In fact, I have more summer outfits to share with you guys here on the blog, so I hope you don’t mind and will still be enjoying those “summery” outfits!
There is definitely such a thing as “No wearing whites after labor day,” and although I have been living in America for almost 10 years, I still don’t get this fashion rule. But I guess rules are meant to be broken so I am like… I will be wearing white tomorrow if I want to, and the day after that. Then the day after that.. Who’s with me?
Rocking whites from head to toe is never wrong and it creates a more polished look and a more inviting vibe than all-black. And an all white look is always one of the hottest looks no matter what season. There are many ways to pull off this style - my favorite look at this moment is a slouchy white knit and white wide leg pants. Effortless yet so chic!
But for the end of summer white look, I paired a Free People off the shoulder top and faux leather mini skirt and then added my all-time favorite white fedora from Lack of Color.
I was really going for everything in white, even the bag and shoes, but I changed my mind and decided to opt for a Chloe mini Fyae bag and python lace-up pumps for a bit of a fall touch.
I’ve been in love with my Chloe Faye bag since day one. I thought it would be too splurging for me, but it was definitely worth investigating some money in such a statement piece as this, one that you can literally rock all year around.
