Happy June, everyone! As much as I am so looking forward to those sunny days with pretty blue skyes, beautiful summer sunsets and warm nights, I am already missing the spring time that I could spot beautiful spring blooms and cherry blossom literally everywhere.
So if you are in the same mood, today’s post is for you.
Spring and summer are all about playing with bold colors and fun prints. And mixing patterns is always a fun way to make your look unique, interesting and stand out. So I decided to create a cute, feminine print on print look styling this new floral midi skirt from SheIn. I love this skirt - navy color and big flower prints. Also if you are petite like me, midi skirts are super tricky to style sometimes and look flattering. But this one is super highwaisted so it does all the job for you.
When it comes to mixing prints, floral and stripes are one of the ultimate ways, and it always gives a fresh and bold feeling.
I paired my old striped crop top to go with the midi skirt and topped it off with a pair of nude lace up pumps to have more elongating silhouette.
I added a thin floral scarf for a final touch because I thought adding a little something extra doesn’t ruin anything. Scavs aren’t meant for winters. It might be the chicest and easy summer accessory. This floral scarf is one of the pieces I brought from Japan, purchasing it nearly 10 years ago. I’m so glad I've kept it!
I love adding a pop of color as a final touch! This bag from Mellow World is my current obsession. Perfect mini bag to store pretty much everything I need to carry and perfect bright red color to any neutral summer look!
