I stopped by at the store yesterday and was totally fascinated by how many kinds of glasses and sunglasses they carry! I enjoyed the great service from the shop assistance and really love the idea that you can swatch the regular glasses into sunglasses by choosing your favorite lenses from the variety selections and vice versa! I picked up flattering frames from Mondo's collection and changed the clear lenses to pink transparent ones to make sunglasses!! I can't wait to get my customized fashionable frames! <3

Hi LOVEs! How has your weekend been? I hope it's not as crazy as mine! <3
I spent my whole Saturday helping out with a friend's photoshoot -- and I was the stylist! This was a new opportunity for me! For a long time I have wanted to do styling, but I really didn't have a chance until yesterday. When he asked me to help, I was hesitant to take the opportunity, but I am glad I did! Even though I am confident about my styling, I was still worried about how well I could do as a stylist... In the end, I totally enjoyed working with the crew and had so much fun styling the model!! I can't wait to see the final results and share the photos with you guys! I snapped some BTS shots and posted on my Instagram, so take a look if you are interested! :)

When ZARA finally launched in Seattle about a month ago, I just HAD to go to the launch party to check them out! Oh my goodness... It was super crazy busy at the entire store! Still, I had a nice shopping time and snagged some great pieces, which I am wearing for today's outfit!
This beautiful pastel yellow with floral printed sweatshirt caught my eyes right away, as if it was calling me far from distance! It's definitely an ACNE sweatshirt inspired top that I'd been looking for and is also easy on my wallet. I get so many compliments every time I wear it! :) You can't ignore the pastel color trend right now, and I am obsessed with this beautiful light yellow color. Isn't it so pretty?? I really love how versatile this top is. There are so many ways to rock it. Not just wearing as a top or dress; you can also layer up.

For today's look, I wore it as a dress top pairing with light blue jeans. Since I didn't want to cover the amazing floral prints, I decided not to wear anything over it and wore fur collar scarf to keep warm from the chilly spring breeze. I threw on a fedora and a pair of leather ankle boots to add a touch of coolness. The white clutch with an awesome fashion-related quote is also from ZARA and compliments the look perfectly. White is such a great color right now for transitioning dark colors to bright colors. Also, adding a white color can instantly change the whole look into a fresh and spring-appropriate ensemble. So if your outfit appears to be dull or you think it is not bright enough for a spring look, you just need to switch an item to white or add anything crisp! Then you will look 'springly' FAB!!!!

Happy Sunday lovers!

Hi LOVEs!
Today's post is a little bit different from my regular posts!!

I have a question to ask you... What's your favorite hair style?
Me? I've always had a big desire to have a bob haircut. I had one a long long time ago, but I don't even remember when it was. A bob is super cute and romantic... It's always been on my top 5 list of hair styles I want to try. In addition to that, one of my fashion divas, Rihanna, is rocking a black bob right now!!! She looks super amazing in that hairstyle! Still, I really love having my hair long and am enjoying coloring it in ombre. One day, as I was doing a photoshoot with my photographer friend, Eric, I found that he has this lovely black bob wig at his live-in studio! I immediately asked him if I could try it on. As I was checking myself out in the wall mirror, he grabbed his camera and he said "Hey, Aika! Let's shoot!"
That's the story behind these pictures!!

Talking about a little bit about the outfit.... I looooove this Bob Dylan oversized tee I found in the H&M mens section. It's big enough for me to wear alone with nothing underneath, or I can knot the hems to make it into a crop top, or it totally goes with leggings or jeans! So funny that I happened to sport 'two bobs' in one outfit - BOB hair and BOB Dylan! lol That's why I titled this post '2 Bobs Better Than 1'

I am now totally obsessed with a bob hair wig, and I really need to get one for myself!!  I won't need to chop my long hair off --  I just need to save up the money to get a wig! I wish I had pre-planned to style my outfit for the black bob wig, yet I am pleased with how the pictures came out!

Hope you liked me with the black bob hair! :)
Do you dare to try it out for yourself?

TGIF my sweethearts! ♥

Hi LOVEs! How are ya?
I wore this outfit when I went to SEE Eyewear launch party a while ago... I definitely love the combo of lace on lace. I was pleased with outcome and that the whole outfit looks like one complete dress with two different patterns combined on top and bottom. Because of one-color hue, it helps one look taller by creating an "I" figure. Thanks to the lace patterns, the skin is peeking through the clothes -- emphasizing sex appeal. I think it's safe to say that all black could be worn in Spring if skin is still showing. The lace skirt is adjustable, so I made it a midi-skirt instead of a maxi-skirt so that I could wear black socks to go with. Wearing ankle socks in any shoes is such a great idea, especially during the season when you can't wear boots because it's too hot, and you can't wear pumps or sandals either because it's too chilly. Since this outfit was for an eyewear brand launch party, I mixed a pair of black flamed fake glasses for a little playful accent and then accessorized with silver jewelry.

Now that the season is switching to spring, and it's time to let the dark clothes sit back in the closet and bring out the bright colors to play. I love black biker jackets, but I needed to update my wardrobe with some new dazzling pieces. Then, I picked up this insanely awesome pastel biker jacket from ZARA. Seriously it keep blowing me away every time I wear it. Everything is just on point! Beautiful pastel blue, its design is a bit of boxy structure that helps to stay on my narrow shoulders when wearing it over-the-shoulder. Just wearing this jacket alone is super trendy! I am even obsessed with its back silhouette. Because the jacket is pastel blue, I paired a watch with a blue bungle to match and make it pop out of the all-black ensemble.
Whenever you are struggling with  which shoes you should go for to complete the look, pick a pair of nude shoes. You'll never go wrong with them, and they are magically harmonized with any outfit and any occasion!

Wishing you a very wonderful week, sweeties!

SCHAI Launch Party at Roche Bobois

_____________________________

 Hi LOVEs!
If you follow me on my Instagram, you saw the post that I spent some fun and networking time at a SCHAI  launch party/ Fall-Winter Collection 2014 event last Friday at Roche Bobois, hosted by Seattle Metropolitan Magazine.

SCHAI (pronounced 'shay') and the designer, Suk Chai  who is based in Bellevue and had fifteen years experience in local design field presented her amazing first-ever collection. Before I went to the party, I checked her collection online, and it didn't take long to fall in love with her pieces and design. Personally, I am usually not very fond of simple designs. Yet I had the impression that her designs ,though simple, are inspired by the nuance and form of great architecture. In addition, it's very practical and innovative. For instance, the jacket fur collar is replaceable so that you can wear it with a different garment, and Suk said eventually it will have a pocket to store a cell phone or necessities.  How awesome is that? The fabrics are definitely breathtaking, and I really love how a piece touches the skin and fits the body. Her line is surely something that makes you look outstanding and upgrades your wardrobe just like those high-end designers like Alexander Wang and Jason Wu. I was also fascinated by the mix of textures she uses: leather, silk, wool, pony hair, and cashmere. My favorite pieces of her collection at the party were the Nude Pink Coat and Fur Collar Scarf.  Check out more of her collection HERE or social medias below.

SCHAI WEBPAGE  |  FACEBOOK |  INSTAGRAM | TWITTER | TUMBLER | VIMEO

The place she chose to present her new collection is just WOW. Roche Bobois is an wonderful furniture store from Paris, and I couldn't get enough of all the inspiring, distinguished, colorful, modern, and fabulous furniture there.  I wanna go back again and take a time to take a look at each item.

I was very pleased to be there to see her collection in person because I know soon or later, it will be going global! I wish the new start of her designer's journey good luck and for many people to fall in love with her collection...

Lastly... here is what I wore at the party! Thank you for the photos, Jason!

Hi LOVEs!!! Happy weekends! :)

Here in Seattle, we finally have amazingly beautiful weather that makes us feel like "spring is just around the corner!!" While I love winter's snow, bundling up with layers and layers, and wrapping in blankets,  I also love the colors of spring, feeling the summer sunshine, and waking up with the beautiful sunlight. Compared to Japanese weather during spring and summer, Seattle is just insanely AMAZING... To me it's breathtaking.... The clear blue sky continuously spreads out so beautifully, the winds are so fresh and clear, and I can literally "smell' the summer breeze... Ummmmm picturing them in my head is just as thrilling, and I can't wait for that!!!

Today's outfit is all about the spring colors! How lovely are these floral purple pants? They are from ZAMRIE, who has launched a brand new website along with a brand new collection for 2014! I teamed up with them to showcase their collection and I picked these fabulous pants! Not only are the colors are great for spring, they are also really comfortable fitting. Because of my height, I am not a big fan of a wide-length pant, yet these are surprisingly good for petite people with platform shoes! So if you have been looking for perfect wide pants for spring and summer and haven't spotted them yet, these are what you should go for! It's also available in two different colors: Peach & Blue.
The brand creator, Ashley Zygmunt, decided to introduce a season-less approach to design and abandon the status quo "SS/FW" norm. She wants women to experiment with new fashion finds without discarding staid classics and have the flexibility to wear them year round.
I really appreciate her will because these pants are definitely wearable for girls of  any height, like I mentioned earlier and proved by how I styled them as a petite. They absolutely could be worn during the fall and winter time with knits and layers for outerwear!!

Besides the spring colors, floral prints are also big trend for SS. So I wanted to mix up more floral items to nicely go with the pants. I decided to team with a bright pink top and flower print shirt underneath. Then I picked my new statement crystal flower motif necklace that I got from Buffalo Exchange and a pair of pretty flower earrings as if they are matching pieces. It was still chilly without a jacket or coat so I threw on a brilliant red colored coat (It was only$4 at a thrift store, btw! What a score!) to add extra color hues. I haven't worn color-blocking outfits in a long time, and I really love how I achieved it with my spring-inspired look. This black cross-body bag is my current favorite of all my bag collections. I found it at JustFab.com, and it's perfect for any occasion. Plus, you can use it in multiple ways - obviously as a cross-body bag, a shoulder bag, a handbag by taking off the strap, and a clutch. I love a bag with an affordable price, that doesn't look cheap or poor quality, and can be enjoyed because of its versatility!

I am totally obsessed with floral print trend. It's pretty and feminine, so you can never go wrong with floral!  You will be seeing me a lot in the trend this spring and summer, so hopefully you can get some inspiration from whatever I wear as I show you how you can rock the trend!

Have a wonderful and stylish weekend sweeties!

Hi LOVEs!
I am very sorry for the lack of posts lately. I have a lot of outfits to share, but I've been working on a new project over the last week, which I am going to announce very soon! Please stay tuned to hear what it is all about! It promises to be exciting!!! :)

This outfit is also inspired by the sporty trend, like the one in my previous post. I am a total sucker for that trend! But in contrast with the previous look, today's look is edgier and has more of a street-style vibe. I had been looking for a nice pair of faux leather sweat pants/joggers, and this pair from Dress To Kill Miami is just right on. They are just like regular sweat pants, yet way more fashion-forward. They are loose-fitting from waist to bottom, so I can literally wear them all day long. I can even go to sleep in them.  Also they could be worn from day to night because of the faux leather material.  I paired them with a Forever 21 cropped sweater to offer a peek of my tummy for a touch of sex appeal. I elevated the sporty-ness by wearing a Aritzia baseball cap and bomber jacket, which are essentials to easily achieve the style.
Joggers and strap heeled sandals are the perfect combo! I actually didn't have a black pair. To my surprise, these strap heels are also from Dress To Kill Miami and are so fab and comfy! They are only slightly platform, so it prevents my feet from getting tired so easily. I am pretty sure I am going to wear them a lot over the spring and summer!
I finished the look with silver accessories ( I love double necklaces!) and a pop of red lips! Oh and don't forget my new awesome white clutch from ZARA!
"STRESSED BUT WELL DRESSED"
Soooo true!

I hope you like how I styled for the sporty group!
Again, don't miss the exciting announcement I will make this week :)

Wising you all a good start of the week!

Hi LOVEs!!!
In past interview about me and my fashion,  the first few question I was always asked were 'how would you describe your style?' and 'what is your fashion/style inspiration?" I would quickly answer these questions with: "my style is "diverse and versatile." Ever since fashion became party of my life, I have been inspired by the variety around me.
Of course, I receive the most inspiration from the environments that I live in. Japan is a world innovator in fashion, with tons of independent and home-grown styles seen on the streets of Tokyo, as you may be aware... Although I didn't dress in all of these styles, I used to check our many of the fashion magazines and became familiar with the specifically features the particular fashion styles. Some were really crazy to me and not quite my style, but I still studied from  for inspiration. Then, I came to America, which is considered to contain one of the most diverse populations in the world. The fashions of so many cultures come together here in America. I believe my fashion is heavily inspired by both American and Japanese cultures, and so crating my own individualized look from these two influences has become my signature style.

With that in mind, unlike the previous post, today's outfit is totally different, isn't it? Once in a while, I love dressing up in a style inspired by Punks, Club Kids, and Street fashion. I got my inspiration from a Boy London style to achieve today's outfit featuring Dress To Kill Miami. I was ecstatic that they asked to work with me because they carry the styles that I love. In this outfit, I am wearing their Girls Just Wanna Have Fun tee & Lonton Trash Ceres Zebra Calfhair Heels. No doubt these instantly became my favorite pieces. I normally wear size Small, but I picked Medium to wear it oversized. Even still, it fits me just right!!! No explanation is needed for these kick-ass shoes. They are now the tallest and craziest shoes I have in my closet! lol I am a big shoe fan, and I am especially crazy about platforms. The elastic bands across the top of my foot (or vamp) give the right amount of sex appeal, too!

If you keep an eye on what is trending, then you know what the next big hit will be this spring and summer, right? Yes, SPORTY!!!! A handful of spring collections on runways channeled a SPORTIF touch fused by modern fashion, and I can't simply ignore the trends. It's too cool not to try it and super easy to achieve!!! So I went with these leather jog shorts and a men's backpack and accessorized in a studded gray beanie by Shop Chic Stud LA and gold accessories. Wearing the white lace sleeve top underneath of the T-shirt completely topped off the look and is great way to add that touch of femininity that can sometimes be lacking in street fashion.

So why not try your own hand at styling it up?
You can shop the T-shirt and zebra heels as well as other awesome pieces at Dress To Kill Miami with 10% off any order over $75 using the code "BABEAIKA"! Don't miss this special offer!

I hope you all have a lovely day!

___________________________

Hi LOVEs! It's been almost a week since the last post... I deeply apologize for being MIA. I needed some rest after my car accident :P I was accidentally hit by a car at intersection on my way home. It was kind of a big one for the first time in a long time... I am glad I didn't get heavy injured and... most happily, I am back now! :)

I believe that I've mentioned before that I am quite the sucker for hats. Of all hats, my most favorite kind is clearly... The FEDORA. I own more than 5 or 6 already, and my love of the fedora is unending. I want all kinds of colors! When I found this awesome fedora at H&M, I was overjoyed! Its color, silhouette, and fit are just about perfect, and it goes with any kind of style. If you want to add a touch of edginess, this hat is the exact piece you should select. It is edgy, yet maintains an air of coolness. That's why I can't live without it.
The difference with today's look is that I started with the hat, then arranged my outfit around it.  I wanted to go for a casual and clean look when styling this fedora. So I picked very comfortable items to achieve it. Since ART PRINTS will be one of the Spring/Summer trends, I wore this Aritzia super loose-fitting top with its big graphic art (check this look styling this top as well). I love mixing prints into a simple look, so I decided to pair these lovely ALDO pony hair boots. They are amazingly comfy but stunning, and you have no idea how many times people have given me compliments on them! The TOPSHOP peach coat definitely compliments the whole look. The combination of fedora and coat is my new favorite now, I think! Adding a pair of fake glasses is the right choice to finish the look, and a few playful elements can never go wrong!

Early this week, I received the most amazing email EVER... It's from one of the co-founders at Chictopia, and it said that I have been selected as a candidate for a VS PINK/Chictopia styling campaign featuring MLB baseball style looks. I nearly died, and had to read it over many times to sure it was real! lol One of my goals this year is to work with a major American company. I am not an official candidate yet, but the fact that I was chosen as one of them is certainly showing that I am on the right path and am one step closer to my goal. Please cross your fingers for me to be officially chosen! :)
Thank you very much for loving my fashion and for your continuous support to make my dreams come true!

Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

Hi LOVEs! Happy Friday <3

If you are a lover of fashion, you don't wanna miss the BIG fashion events that are going on right now.
YES! Fashion Week Winter/Fall 2014!
New York Fashion Week and London Fashion Week have just finished, and we are now switching to Milan Fashion Week and Paris Fashion Week. It sucks that I am here in Seattle when I want to be there in the middle of the fashion! Still, one of my favorite things to do during this time is to go through the heaps of street fashionistas' photos!!! They are insanely fashionable and give me tremendous inspiration. I literally spent a few hours looking through them in a single day recently. I just couldn't stop! All the outfits are incredibly fashion-forward and are beyond on point! You can check on them via my Pinterest if you'd like!
As a fashion blogger who aims to be active worldwide, it is one of my biggest dreams to become one of them. On top of that, if the street photographers captured me in one of my outfits during my visit, omg... it would mean the world to me! I know I can't make the dream come true right away, but I will realize my dream one day for sure. Who said that I can't DREAM BIG??
Although I am not physically able to attend the Fashion Weeks, it doesn't meant that I can't dress up as if I am there, does it?

Today's outfit would be one of the ensembles I would wear at a Fashion Week. It is fully inspired by the french style... And I tried to create an inspired look by putting my favorite pieces all together. A turtleneck top is definitely a winter essential, and I paired it with an A-line camel leather skirt and a wide belt. I can't stay away from knee-high boots. They are not only cute but are also super practical to protect you from the winter cold. And I've worn these brown ones from my mom countless times! I accessorized with gold and black jewelry for a high-end touch. Thanks to the military cap, it elevates the french vibe even more. Anything in plaid is so trendy and this TOPSHOP plaid long coat is way too fabulous piece to resist... It wowed me when I saw it online, and my sweet best friend gifted it to me as a Christmas present! :) It IS a bit big on me, but I don't care. It's such a great piece to bundle up and is definitely stylish and a head-turner.
If you were going to a Fashion Week, how would you dress up?
Hope you have a fun and lovely Friday!

SEE Eyewear Grand Opening Party!!!!

__________________________

Hi LOVEs!
About two weeks ago, I was so lucky to be invited to celebrate a launch party of a fabulous & stylish eyewear company called SEE Eyewear, voted "Best Eyewear" in several major publications. It officially opened in Downtown Seattle. I am a girl who finds a lot of excitement in collecting fashionable sunglasses and lovely glasses. Now that I can shop for amazingly cool, stylish, and innovative eyewear in person, this store open is quite exciting for me. I was always looking for a high-quality, fashion-forward, and one-of-a-kind eyewear store with decent price ranges in Seattle, and I finally found the BEST place for myself whose style is unique and versatile.

With an innovative retailing concept and sleek store design, the SEE boutique offers a fresh outlook on eyewear. "we set out to develop a gouge free environment for people who appreciate trendy luxury eyewear without the ridiculously absurd price tag. By sourcing SEE's exclusive collection directly from the world's foremost designers, SEE is able to bring true value to the customer, thus SEE's slogan, "Hip withouht the Rip."
SEE has been featured in Vogue, InStyle, GQ, Marie Claire, Elle, WWD and countless others both nationally and internationally.

I was totally blown away by the versatility of their products, and I couldn't stop trying them on. I kept finding awesome frames all over the shop. The store is very sleek with huge storefront window that lets a lot of light inside. The vintage pictures are beautifully decorated on the wall, and the sales reps are super lovely and inviting! Each frame is absolutely bad-ass and inspiring such that you can totally upgrade your style by simply putting them on.
Of all their wonderful collections at the store, my top collection was the Mondo frames. I've seen him on Project Runway, and I really admire his uniqueness. His collection is just WOW, and I wanna give him kudos for making a collection that totally reflects his characteristic style. The collection carries a lot of variety of designs from chic to rock. As a blogger who strives for  uniqueness and versatility of styles, there is no freaking way that I couldn't fall in love with his collection as well as this store. They rank as one of my top fashion stores in Seattle now!
The found/CEO, Richard Golden, is such an amazing and cheerful guy, and I was having a fun light conversation during the party. I took a few selfies with him and we both looked so stylish in SEE glasses! lol
If you haven't yet, please checked them out because I can guarantee that you will definitely enjoy the store as much as I do!

I really can't wait to go back again and shop their awesome pieces using my gift cards! You see, I won their Instagram contest for a free pair of frames yesterday!! Woo-hoo!!!!!

Hi LOVEs! and.....

♥♥♥ HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY

♥♥♥

I had hoped to post this look the day before Valentine's as my second V-day inspired outfit but was unable to because I left sick yestrday and had to spend time in bed to get some rest! But heyyy --- what is a better Valentine's present than a good outfit, huh?  Here you go! :)

This photoshoot was one of the best ones I've ever had! Not just because I really love the outfit, but also because I can't get enough of my new hair and color! And I am overjoyed with how beautifully my photographer friend, Eric, captured me through his lens... This series offers more head shots than usual... I just couldn't choose which one was the best! :P

Even though I can't share today with my valentine, this outfit is definitely the one I would wear to celebrate my day. While the first look highlights the color red and showcases cuteness and femininity for a younger woman, this outfit focuses on elegance and the seductive nature of a mature woman. That's why I styled it up with all-black to elevate the polished and chic touch, including the outerwear and the bag. Just a little note, the black fur coat is really a go-to item that you shouldn't miss this winter season. It keeps you bundled up for sure, and you can't go wrong wearing it with any style... I am so glad to have snagged this one when it was on sale for  ~$10 at

H&M

! Score!

I'd been looking for a skirt with some flares for a long time and finally found

the perfect one at

H&M

. Thanks to the ruffle hems, it gives a nice amount of charm to the look. How can I not love the skirt? Simple but elegant! I love the skirt so much!

Of course, I wanted to add some characteristic colors and items from Valentine's Day. So I topped it off with the

ASOS

heart print tights and

UrbanOG

pretty pink wedge heels. Oh, and don't forget to complement the look with gold accessories and a hint of red lips!

Wishing you all a very lovely and sweet Valentine's Day! Happy a day of love!!!

Kisses and Hugs xoxo

Hi LOVEs!!!! Happy Valentine's week!

My last post was about the BLUEs, but today's post is all about RED because lovely Valentine's day is right around the corner and RED is absolutely the symbolic color of it!! Last year I shared two Valentine's Day inspired outfits with you, and I wanted to do the same this year. If you missed the posts last year ( or just want to go back in time), you can check them out

HERE

.

This first outfit features a lot of Valentine color: RED & WHITE. I think this outfit would be too literal for some of you, but I really adore this look. The outfit is full of Valentine sentiment, and I rock the colors really well! You can totally tell from the outfit that it's custom-fit for Valentine's Day, too! That said, it's totally wearable anytime, isn't it? Well to me... YES!!! The thing I like the most about this outfit is how I put on the bright red oversize coat over the red check dress. I have never done a red-on-red outfit before, and it turned to be a favorite ensemble. It's super bright and fashion-forward!

Most people might have chosen a pair of plain or sheer tights to complete the look, but I went with polka dot tights to finish my look. I think it really adds a bit of a playful vibe to the look. Additionally, it really worked with the check dress! I accessorized with some white items to soften the look, while wearing some vintage gloves to add just a touch of class. Whenever I wear a beret, it always makes me feel more feminine, since berets can instantly add a hint of femininity to any look.

I don't have any plans for my V-day since I don't have a boyfriend. Do you have any special plan? It's kinda sad because I love Valentine's Day... Yet, I am going to buy a bunch of chocolate and watch a movie to celebrate the day! Or I will go out for a dinner if I am lucky enough to be someone's Valentine lol

I hope I was able to give you some inspiration for what you plan to wear on your V-day! Another post is coming up very soon so please stay tuned! It is gonna be totally different than today's look!

HAPPY SWEET VALENTINES DAY LOVELIES!!!!!!!

Hi LOVEs!!!!
I am sure that you ALL know that the Seattle Seahawks became the world champion in football!!! How awesome is that?!?! I am originally from Japan, but I love Seattle! I am totally proud of my city's team!!!! Last Wednesday, after about 700,000 people gathered in Downtown Seattle to cerebrate the Seahawks' amazing win on Sunday. The street was completely packed with the 12th Man. Unfortunately, I had to work that day so I couldn't go see the actual parade.... However, I thought I should show some love by wearing the Seahawks' BLUE colors! :)

If you know a bit about me, you may have noticed that I am completely obsessed with BLUE lately. This striped turtle neck and accompanying puffer coat are a couple of the new pieces I've received from NOWiSTYLE. This coat not only looks really warm -- it really IS! Its design is superb, especially the way the collar/hood cradles my neck. It is unexpectedly wonderful. It flames my face and keeps my neck really snug. It offers a drawstring high on the waist that can be pulled in to lengthen the appearance of my legs by shortening the torso! I always love the trick of creating an illusion to make my legs magically look longer! Turtle necks are a must-have item this winter, and there is so many ways to rock it! Thought it is a turtle neck dress, it can be transformed into a top, as well.

Ever since wearing a pair of sneakers with a fashionable outfit has become a trend, I have wanted to try it out. Still, I am crazy about heels and appreciate the extra height they add, so sneakers never seemed to make it into one of my outfits. BUT, look how I managed to pair them with today's ensemble! The pink neon color of the shoelaces harmonizes with the outfit, and I really like how they helped my casual sporty look keep just right amount of femininity!
I topped off this look with some silver accessories, hologram bag and put on BLUE mirrored sunglasses to add a sporty vibe a bit more.

Valentine's day is now less than a week away. Do you all have a SWEET plan to celebrate it with your beloved one?
I created two Valentine's inspired outfits for you so please stay tuned for the posts coming up next week!

Happy weekend! :)

Happy weekends LOVEs!!!!

How's your weekend so far? Everyone is super thrilled about today's Super Bowl! Since the Seahawks is playing the game there, everywhere in Seattle has been cheering them up with cool decorations and Seahawks fans are so ready for today's game! haha

GO HAWKS!!!!!

I finally, FINALLY can share an outfit on my blog with me wearing my favorite

TOPSHOP

pink coat

that I picked up this season!!!! Isn't it just to die for? I'd been dying to get a pink coat for myself simply because it's super cute and trendy, but I hadn't had the luck to find an ideal one for years. And then I found this

TOPSHOP

one

! This coat is incredibly warm and definitely helps me avoid Seattle's piercing chill. It is without a doubt an insanely lovely, stylish, and head-turning piece that is worth paying a little bit estra to own!! You have no idea how happy I was when it was arrived at my home after waiting for more than a month for it to arrive!!

This coat goes with any look from casual to classy. In the past I have paired it with an oversized tee, leather leggings, short boots and a beanie as my casual ensemble. On the other hand, I could wear it with a combo of a shirt, sweater, and midi skirt, finishing the look with a pair of fab heels to make it a more classy vibe.

For today's look, I decided to dress it up with a sophisticated look that features a bit of mens inspiration. Since I wanted to make the coat pop more, I kept my other colors muted  from head to toe. I really like the mix of mens-inspired items such as this

Free People

vintage-looking newsboy cap and the

H&M

oversized black blazer. These

NOWiSTYLE

tweed shorts

and

JustFab

khaki tote bag add an extra-sophisticated vibe to the look. I was really debating whether I should choose a pair of loafers to complete the mens-inspired ensemble or wear these platform heels. But I believe I made a right choice in the end.

I am also pleased with my decision to hung the fur collar scarf from the bag instead of actually wrapping it around my neck. It turned out to add a little twist and become a stunning winter accessory for the bag!

Hope you like/love how I styled my pink coat!!!

I'd like to know how you would/did wear your pink or colored coat during this winter!

Please check my latest feature on

You Next Dress

!

Have a warm and fashionable weekend ♥
