Don't Be Afraid To Show Your Vulnerable Side

Last week I decided to share my tale - REAL LIFE - on my InstaStory. I was really scared and nervous because I thought no one would care about it or would even wanna see it. But, I simply wanted to share what I have been struggling with in my life. Then, here is what happened...

Hi LOVEs!
I am so sad that the summr is getting close to the end. I still have tons of summer activities in mind that I haven't done yet... I am seriously not ready for the summer to be over! Hopefully I will be able to spend some quality time at Alki Beach soon, one of my favorite spots in Seattle!

It's all about the combination of my favorite pieces today! I got this lovely gingham print skirt from ASOS in early June, and I love waring it as a dress more than as-is. If you remember, I rocked a look as a dress a while ago, and this is another way I styled it up as a dress. If you are a petite, like me, it can be hard to find the perfect comfy dress. This one can totally solve that problem! This is the only gingham printed piece that I have in my closet, and I am very pleased how the print makes me feel extra girly and chic. It even adds some playful, but retro elegance touch. How can you not love a piece that keeps you cool from the remaining summer heat while looking super stylish?
I've been so in love with this straw boater hat ever since I snagged at H&M it awhile back. I think as much as I love a baseball cap, this hat is my top favorite summer hat for sure. Oh and it's very practical!! The mix of this ht and the dress is just so lovely.
You have no idea how many times I've worn these awesome studded white sandals over the past few months. I got them from ALDO last year and didn't have a chance to wear as many times as I wanted. I am a complete sucker for shoes that have WOW elements and details, and these gold studs definitely make the sandals a statement. With the bloke heels, there is no worrying about stability walking around, and even running to catch a bus! What a dream pair!
This time I decided to pair a black patent belt to match with the black ribbon on the hat, then finish the look with the light blue mini cross-body bag (to compliment the same hue of the dress) with some gold jewelry. Nothing is incorporated for fall inspirations, but this look really overjoyed me and gives a little bit of end-of-summer fun!

Wishing you cuties a very beautiful day!

Hi LOVEs!!!!
Did you remember I posted an outfit wearing a gingham print dress last week? I mentioned that it was actually a skirt, and here is the look that I am wearing it as-is.
Compared to the look as a dress, this is more elegant and mature, which is my initial plan because I wanted to show you how you can rock the trend print and also how you can wear a midi skirt in two ways with completely different vibes!

I am so glad to finally get my hands on this cute off-shoulder white crop top and add it to my closet! I don't have many high-waisted bottoms that go with crop tops, but I am really getting into them this year, and this one has everything! Thanks to the color, it can go with any look without trouble, plus it showing of the shoulder and back part gives a nice feminine touch instantly. Also, it still has sleeves! (you know why!) I really like how the delicate jewelry like this custom handmade name necklace from Fashionista Problems compliments the collarbone area with the crop top. ASOS has a great selection of this type of cropped top (called Bardot Top) and I will guarantee that you will love it as much as I do if you get one!
I styled the look with a pair of my new floral print heeled sandals to add some colors on my feet. To me, gingham print really reminds me of picnic because my mom always brought gingham checked table cloth when we went to picnic. So that kind of made me decide to go for a mini woven bag!

I hope you like both looks, and I'd love to hear which look you liked more, as a dress or as a skirt? Comment below!
Have a good one sweeties!

Hi LOVEs!!!!
Recently I read an article in the Trend Report of Who What Wear talking about GINGHAM as one of the major prints right now, much like floral, and this trend print immediately caught my eye and I really wanted to give it a try! Whenever I look for a particular item, I always end up going to ASOS, an amazing brand that I love so much because I can find exactly what I want. When I searched there, I luckily came across this beautiful ocean blue gingham midi dress!!! I knew this skirt could be worn as both skirt and even a shouderless dress when I saw it online, so BOOM! It's transformed into the perfect summer dress!!!! The look is definitely appropriate for any occasion.

When wearing as a dress, I wore it high and belted right under the breast. That way I can create the magic of having longer legs and a nice effect to balance the whole look. I wanted to go for a marine-inspired color palette so I paired the dresswith NEW lovely blue metallic sandals and white crisp shirt knotted around the belt, to blend with the colors of the dress. Also, I like the pop of blue on my earrings and they match with the sandals! When the wind blows, the dress becomes more flattering by floating and billowing.

I styled my hair into a messy bun because I wanted to show off my décolleté line and add an extra sex appeal when I take off the shirt. It's summer so don't be shy to let some skin show! I actually didn't know when I did the updo, the pink hightlights would shine throught! Ohhhh I am sooooo in love with this hair!

Which look is your favorite look, with or without the shirt? I know it's kinda hard to decide, isn't it? Because both looks are so lovely either way!
Of course I created another look wearing this midi skirt as-is! So stay tuned for how I coordinated it <3
I hope your week has been amazing!
