Hi LOVEs!!! Happy Friday!!!
One of the favorite things in spring is definitely to enjoy a day with a pretty view of blooming flowers wherever I go. At a park, neighbors, and random streets. Literally everywhere. Yesterday while I was running a little errands, I came across adorable cuties on the way. So I had to stop and took a snap of it! This little happiness always gives me a positive vibe and puts a big smile on my face naturally.

Wearing floral prints is another way to amuse myself with the season. And these 70's inspired floral printed pants are absolutely on point! The color is so uplifting, the fabrics are so stretch that I feel like I am wearing a pj, and I love the big flower prints! The lengths are flattering for petites even though you have to wear a pair of platforms, which I don't mind that at all. Yay to longer legs! I paired them with a simple black cropped top to make the pants pop and also to show a bit of skin for a great amount of sexiness. I wore this on Easter so I added pastel blue mini bag to celebrate the holiday.

As the weather gets warmer, I opt to play with my hair like top buns, ponytails, or side braids...The options are endless and it's actually somewhat significant to style your hair because one look can be changeable depending on your hairstyles! Whenever my whole face is showed, adding a pair of statement earrings is a must.  Recently JJ Caprices gifted these gorgeous jeweled earrings when I had a meeting with her and I instantly fell in love with them. Too lovely to take them off! Loving the color-blocking action going with crystals and silver accents!! Her boutique offers one-of-a-kind pieces, and that makes me feel even special to wear these earrings! I highly recommend to visit her store if you love amazing, unique and handmade jewelry around the world.
Don't forget to enjoy a special code, "AIKASLOVECLOSET" for 15% off of your order!
Also, she is having a special trunk show on April 25th at Hotel Max featuring global finds and new arrivals from over 10+ countries including Turkey, Italy, Israel, Peru, Costa Rica, France, India and more. So if you are in the city, come check out her newly added pieces and grab a special gift for your mom! :)

Hi LOVEs!!!!
I hope you are all well! For the last few days, I've been feeling a bit discouraged because of sickness, and it's super hard to keep positive and get energized... Ugh I hate this kind of feeling </3 How do you guys beat the feeling when you are in a bad condition?

Sometimes, I really love playing with simple ensembles - just plain black and white. And I totally believe that you never go wrong with simplicity. To me, hair style is one of the significant parts of my style. I don't want to stick with single style. If you have followed me longer enough, you've seen me changing the color countless times for the past several years... and I've mentioned a couple of times already that it really affects how I want to style myself. Because I have this cool lavender ombre hair, going for black & white look is even more fun. It highlights my hair color so much.

I created the look with what I already had except my clutch. Adore the top with a sporty vibe paired with side zipped black skinny pants for a chic and sophisticated touch. Wearing a lightweight soft jacket definitely helps to refine your spring/summer look, and it is also a great way to layer up for a little chiller weather.  I love how this white biker jacket polished the look even more. I decided to finish the look with my new mirror embroidery clutch that I was gifted. This clutch instantly adds a festivity vibe and to my surprise, it goes with anything!! Just like a leopard clutch is always on point to any look! So I can't help but carrying it everywhere lately!

Happy Hump day cuties!

Hi LOVEs!!!! Happy Easter Weekend!!

Any fun plan? I am going to my friend's birthday party later today, and I am super excited because I've known her for a while through social media but never met in person!!

Today's post is all about my new chic glasses. Now the technology has changed our lives and we CAN'T live without it. AT ALL. How in the world could I blog without my laptop? I have to admit that my life could be boring without my iPhone. It's sad to say that, yet it's true. But, did you know that artificial light and blue rays are coming from your computer screens, tablets, cell phones, and other kinds of devices? The worst part is.... it is harmful to your eyes.  So

Polette

, one of my new favorite eyewear brands, is just so awesome that they have launched undoubtedly fashionable glasses that protect our eyes called

E-POLETTE

collection

. Their glasses have lenses with a filter that shields your eyes from excessive blue light emanating from the digital screes around. How cool is this!!?

I decided to go with

E-JOPLIN

glasses as my first pair, and can I just say how adorable these are?! A pair entirely made out of acetate, with a long elaborated work. I indeed adore the brown tortoiseshell. Even though I particularly prefer oversized eyewear due to my facial structure, but these ones perfectly flame my face. Ever since I've been using these glasses, my eyes feel less tired. I literally carry them around with me in my purse wherever I go because I am totally a iPhone and computer freak. I am so glad I got them! The prices are super wallet-friendly, and the quality is killer. We love technology, but it should be safe, right?  If you haven't had a chance to check them out yet, I bet you will surely love them!

Have a lot of fun on Easter!

Hi LOVEs!!!!

The weather in Seattle lately has been super unpredictable, and to be honest with you, it's driving me insane. It's sunny one day, and next day it completely changes to a gloomy, chilly, unhappy weather. The worst part is.... it greatly affects my emotions! Ugh! I can't wait for summer! But outfit wise, I am really pleased with the cool temperature only because I can take advantage of it to still wear my favorite coats!

This

camel oversized coat

has been a big hit ever since I've owned in my closet, and needless to say, I've worn it a countess time already. And I wanted to create something spring-inspired. Whenever I wear an outerwear, especially a little thick one, I always tend to tuck up the sleeves to show some skin. This one easy trick instantly transforms any winter-ish coat to an appropriate spring one. Even a black bicker jacket as well. Today's look was created around this awesome coat with a double denim ensemble along with a

camel hat

which is my major hat obsession right now.

Since the festivity mood is floating everywhere, I was inspired to wear festival-ready accessories to finish the look. A peacock earrings, a beaded necklace, and of course a

fringed bag

. They are definitely spice up the look!

I love my new sunnies from

Polette

and new chic pointy heels from

Cherry Footwear

. They are perfect to complement the look! Never go wrong with a black pair of heels! If you are looking for a fun, affordable shoe online store,

Cherry Footwear

is such a good place to shop at! And I have something special to my readers! Use the code "

Have a lovely day, dolls!

Hi LOVEs! It's finally FriYAY!
I don't know whether or not my new hair color affects how I decide which clothes I wanna wear, but I feel like I am so into girly styles lately. Similarly, when I had side-shaved my hair, I was completely obsessed with more of an edgy style.  If you're a sucker for colored hair like I am, I wonder does that happen to you as you switch up the colors?
When Fevrie sent me this cute floral print sweater ( really sad to say that this piece is an exclusive item  which is cannot be bought :( ), I came up with this ensemble in a second. Chic and cute! Floral pints continue to grow in popularity for this spring/summer, and wearing gray for spring is still fun and in style. So this sweater is perfectly divine! Especially when I simply want to throw on a piece and don't wanna wear anything on top of it. Although I initially wanted go with the same color family from head to toe, unfortunately I don't own any gray pair heels. So I picked these cute sky-high platform heels. I am actually pleased with how these shoes give me more height and elongate my legs. Plus adding a black fringed bag to match these heels really helps balance the whole look. As for jewelry, these Rocksbox earrings and Petite Sesame necklace has been in heavy rotation. (Use "aikasloveclosetxoxo" to get your first month of jewelry FREE!) I appreciate we can finally celebrate showing off lovely accessories more as it gets warmer!

By the way, Fevrie is working on launching the Fevrie Tendance Project by bringing together top fashion bloggers and European fashion designers to create the first ever limited edition collection hand picked by your favorite fashionsita. To learn more and support the project please visit: http://bit.ly/febrietendance. Also, they are doing an awesome giveaway which you can win a $200 gift card! Hi LOVEs!!!

It's so gloomy and chilly today in Seattle. How's the weather where you are?

If it is as bad as my city, I hope today's post will brighten up your day because there are a lot of sweet & twirling moments! :)

Another day with my beloved

camel hat

outfit! Just like today's temperature, I still needed to cozy up in a sweater or layers, so I chose this super lovely bell sleeve cropped pullover to create a "spring natural" ensemble along with the hat. I am so glad I styled them with a flowy maxi skirt because it really complements the look, and it gives the look a nice feminine element.  I actually haven't worn this maxi skirt for a very long time because to be quite honest with you, I didn't know how to style it due to the length - I felt it's too long for my height. But it turned out really flattering! I love it when I can give life back to whatever piece has been hiding in my closet unworn. Since this skirt is extremely light and flowy, it could be fun to wear it again for other spring looks! Maybe with an off shoulder top or floral print tops! The options will go on and on!

Even though my boots are hidden by the skirt, these pink ankle boots added a spring hue. Wearing anything with pastel is such a great color selection add fresh vibe to the look.

As for hairstyle, I have a major obsession with this camel hat and side braid. It's super easy yet effortlessly chic and cute. Such a lovely go-to hair style right now!

Hi LOVEs!!!!

Are you as happy as I am to finally feel the spring weather and to get to see all the oh-so-cute flowers blooming everywhere? Whenever spring has sprung, it always reminds me of my home: Tokyo, Japan. As you probably know, you can see wonderful cherry blossoms in Japan wherever you go during this season, and we have a fun outdoor party called

Hanami

to celebrate or enjoy the transient beauty of flowers with family, friends, or colleagues while we enjoy delicious food and drinks together. Sounds really enjoyable, doesn't it? Oh I miss THAT so much!

I was happy that yesterday was warm enough to bare some skin (Yes! Finally!) so I wore a bright red dress and a pastel pink sweater on top of it for a fashion/blogger event last night. I posted the look on my

Instagram

if you are curious to see it!

Although the temperature is warming now, on some days the winter chill remains. Today's look is for one of those days and is inspired by the spring vibe. I put on a flowery printed pink top and paired it with some skinny jeans. Instead of wearing boots, I decided to go for multi-colored sandals. I know it was too cold to wear them barefooted, so I layered with

black sheer tights

, and it worked! I have been looking for a perfect camel hat that can be wearable for all seasons, and look what I've scored recently from

ASOS

!!!

When in doubt, go find at

ASOS

! I adore its big wide brim. Plus, it definitely goes with any look and gives a nice touch of chicness. Color-wise, camel is better than dark ones like black and gray to give your look a brighter accent. Because I needed a few more layers, I chose my ZARA faux fur jacket to keep the "spring hue" going while bundling up.  For a little bling, these lovely accessories from

Rocksbox

do an amazing job! I can't help but be in love with them! Too cute not to wear them every day! If you like them and want to subscribe

Rockbox

's amazing jewelry, you can get a free one month subscription with the special code "

Happy Thursday my sweeties!

Hi LOVEs!!!

I guess I don't need to explain why I am sporting the color green today! Happy St. Patrick's Day! I actually wore this outfit a while ago with

a different coat

, so to be quite honest with you I didn't plan to wear this look as a  St. Patrick's Day outfit. But while I was doing photoshoot in downtown, a lady walking by us randomly told us "Wow, what a great outfit for St. Patrick's Day!" So this lady kinda convinced me to post this look today! haha

I actually have never worn a look that consists of a lot of green because I thought I'd never been able to pull the color off. But you know what? I love how it turned out! I got these awesome

green plaid leggings from

Lemonade Clothes

and decided to base everything around them. I like the contrast of green and white. It looks a bit edgy on one side, but the pussybow blouse gives a nice touch of femininity. I threw on a classic green cardigan for extra warmth and extra green hue to match with the leggings. I am so glad I opted for these yellow pumps as the finishing accent. It definitely helps make the green color pop, and yellow is always a great color to spice up your whole look! When I wore

this look with the coat

, I carried my

new fave backpack

, also from

Lemonade Clothes,

on the back. But for this look I carry it differently and I love how it can be styled in a flattering way as a regular bag.

How do you guys celebrate St. Patrick's Day? Hope you enjoy my green ensemble!

Hi LOVEs!!!!
When my new blogger friend, Diana, found me through Lookbook.nu, she contacted me to set up for meet-up, and I was so pleasure to meet her for the first time!! She was such a lovely girl and I knew we would be BFF immediately! We both are from overseas - she is from Kazakhstan, and I am from Japan - so I instantly felt really close to her without not knowing much. I wish I could spend more time while she was here because now she went back to Virginia, and I miss her so much!

I wore this look when we had a brunch together by Alki Beach, one of my favorite spots in Seattle. Unfortunately we didn't have a good luck on the weather. It was super gloomy and drizzling. Yup, welcome to Seattle! :p I kinda wanted to go for laid back style, so I decided to pick anything with loose fit. Pairing a sheer blouse and boyfriend jeans is my new favorite combo now! I styled it with my old khaki boots as my rain boots lol You can laugh at me because I am the type of girl who wears booties even when it rains.
I topped it off in my No.1 beloved faux fur jacket that I scored from Zara this season. I LOVE THIS JACKET to death. Don't think I am saying too much. It's an amazingly perfect jacket! Seriously can't get enough of everything about it. Pink pastel color, awesome fitting, its textures, and how warm it can keep me! My love affair with this number is growing every time I wear it. Even though spring is approaching and the sun is out more often, sadly it's still chilly and I have to bundle up. Whenever I am so lazy to style my hair, I always go for a fedora. It definitely helps me look effortlessly so chic. I wanna make a fashion proverb: "When doubt, go for a fedora. You won't regret it at all." Do you agree?

By the way, Diana is a Creative Director for IFBKSeoul, and I had a chance to be featured on there. You can read my interview HERE if interested.

Hope you all have a beautiful day!

Hi LOVEs!!!!

I just couldn't be happier with the super beautiful sunny days Seattle has enjoyed lately. It definitely makes me feel that spring is around the corner and can't wait to soak up the sun <3

Since the last season, backpacks have become major trend accessories, and they continue to grow in popularity year by year.  To be quite honest with you, I used to hate it. I thought it's kinda ugly to carry a backpack, but now a lot of brands like

Rebecca Minkoff

Michael Kors

, and

Stella McCartney

are even joining the trend, and I like the "backpacks are the new purse" thing! They're not just for high school girls anymore. I am in love! So glad to finally get hands on

mine from

Lemonade Clothes

! I love that  backpacks can instantly add the back-to-school vibe and they are so practically fashionable! You can find any style from sleek and polished to casual and cool. The options are endless!

I definitely adore my

new backpack

! I think that these city prints are what this backpack makes really fun and unique. Whenever I open my bag, I see the city names, and it makes me wanna go back to my city (Tokyo) and travel to those major fashion capitals so badly!! Such a tempting bag! lol

My look is totally inspired by all the cities printed in the backpack. You see a dose of the inspiration from each piece I am wearing, don't you? I like how the look gives a different image from the front and the back. I styled my new pussybow blouse with

green plaid leggings

, but kept it sophisticated by wearing a leather sleeved coat and black shades courtesy of

Wholesale Celebshades

(

Use promo code "

shady15

" for 15% off!!

) .  I added a beanie for extra warmth, and it was such the right choice to complete my look with a pair of yellow pumps! Always fun to add a pop of color!

Have an amazing Tuesday, cuties!
