Striped Shirt II ~Newsy Handsome Stripe~

NEWSBOY CAP: Japan
EARRINGS: Birthday Gift
STRIPED SHIRT (Similar HERE), WHITE FRAMED SUNGLASSES & PINK SHORTS: Forever 21
SNAKE RING: Charlotte Russe
PLATFORM SANDALS: Vince Camuto

---------------------------------------------------

Today's outfit features another striped shirt, this time with an awesome hat.
Have I ever mentioned that I am a big fan of HATS? They complete any look!!!

Since I wanted the second striped shirt look to be more a cool, tomboyish, and sophisticated look, I wore this newsboy cap. I really love the pastel pink shorts and how well they go with the striped shirt. Also, I matched up the sunglasses and bag with the same color so that my look has a solid feeling.

Lately I've been in love with these fun, stunning sandals from Vince Camuto (Got them last year via PIPERLIME) . They have a lot of my favorite features all wrapped up in one pair of shoes: they have color-blocking, are platforms, have a cross strap, and they have thick heels with studs (on the heels)... No wonder I get tons of compliments whenever I wear them! I always love the heels to make my legs longer and slimmer, and these are definitely make it happen!

So far, I super enjoy styling up the striped shirt! The next blog post will be the last striped shirt look... It will be hard to decided which one is my most favorite outfit!!!!

Hope you like/love my second striped shirt look!!!!!

Hello New Babies, You guys are KILLER!

MINT DOUBLE STRAP TREND HEEL & BLACK LACE UP HEELS
(Both are from Windsor. My new favorite online shopping site!)

____________________________________________

How GORGEOUS are these summer heels, right?! I absolutely adore them so freaking much! I have tended to buy platforms lately because they add some height and they are easier to walk around in. But this  time,  these were just too attractive to pass up...

I am currently obsessed with shoes that feature clear heels and ankle straps, and these mint mid-strap heels are so on trend, plus they have what I love! I've never had any shoes in mint, so why not?! I've worn them a couple of times already, and they are fab (of course!) and are actually quite comfortable!!! I was able to shop with these heels for more than 8 hours! Plus, I can wear them with a casual look all the way to a mid-dressy look. How versatile!!

I also have wanted to get black summer heels, and omg... these lace up heels are RIGHT ON! They are extremely LOVELY, FUN, and TRENDY, aren't they? Oh, and they are such a stand-out piece of any outfit! I really needed some dressy summer heels for special occasions, so I am so glad to have found them at Windsor. If you want to add up something to your look that really makes a statement,  these black lace are definitely the ones!

Best of all, both pairs were actually under $40... Can you believe that?  I just visited their store again and quickly surfed the shoe section. They added a lot more of amazing shoes, boots, sandals -- all under $40!!!!!!!. So please check them out now!

I really can't wait to share with you all about how I style them up!!!! :)

P.S. Thank you very much Windsor for making my summer much funner!!!

Striped Shirt ~What Goes With Stripes~

STRIPE SHIRT: Forever 21 (Similar HERE)
SKIRT & BELT: Thrifted
NECKLACE: JAPAN
EARRINGS, BAG & WATCH: ALDO
OPEN TOE BOOTIES: Qupid via Lulu's.com
SUNNIES: Urban Outfitters (UO Sunnies HERE)
HEADBAND: American Apparel

----------------------------------------------------------

I'd always wanted to own a striped item; they are very in vogue and great items to make a look stylish and bold. However, I hadn't been able to find any that really caught my eyes. So when I ran into this perfect and very fun (because of its design) striped shirt from Forever 21, I fell in love with it in a second and purchased it right away without looking at the price and trying it on, which was totally rare for me! It's super eye-catchy, trendy, and versatile! I love it so much!
One of the amazing things about styling is that I can create totally different looks and bring out contrasting feelings from the same garment. I just have to change clothes, hairstyle, accessories, or whatever. That's what I love about styling at the most!  So, I decided to make three completely different outfits using one of the hottest trends this summer: STRIPES, and I believe this shirt could be an excellent item for that!!!
For my first striped shirt look, I wanted to achieve a cute, girly look, so I could go shopping with my girl friends, then go out for dinner at my boyfriend afterwords.
I paired it with some feminine elements, such as the headband and skirt, to create a lovely look. To finalize this look, I accented it with a fresh, yellow colored bag to express the vibe of summer.

Hope you like/love my first look of striped shirt! Stay tuned for the next two looks!

The First Day of Summer

Photographed by Felix Hidajat

HAT: ALDO
JEAN JACKET: Japan
ANIMAL GRAPHIC TANK: MANGO
LEOPARD BOOTIES: ASOS
ZEBRA NECKLACE: Forever 21
BAG: Steve Madden
FRINGE EARRINGS: H&M

____________________________________________

My legs are short and I hate that :( They seem even shorter when I'm wearing pants.... Such a sad thing, isn't it? So I don't like wearing pants unless I am wearing heels. But, white skinny pants look cool and fresh, so I got this pair of white skinny pants at a thrift store last year. I wanted an "all-white" outfit, yet I love this animal graphic tank from MANGO so much I had to use it, too.
I didn't notice until now that I paired them with leopard booties and a zebra necklace, completing this outfit with 'animal items.

I really love the way this hat sits. I've never worn a hat this way, but now I think I should wear my hats this way more often. It's simple and easy, but is sleek and very stylish!!!!
What's your most favorite way to wear a hat?

Hope you like/love the look!!!!!

Hi my lovely readers! Hope your new week has been treating you well!
This outfit is what I wore for my best friend's graduation ceremony and guess what?
I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!!!!!!
First of all, I am completely in love with those rad and trendy metallic sandals from ASOS. I'd never owned a pair of metallic shoes before, so I am glad that I chose these as my first pair! They are just so eye-catching from every direction, right? I also love the heels which are accented with a hologram. They are also available in BLUE, but I believe that this color is much more versatile for my stylings! Whenever I want add some spice to my outfit, these will definitely fit the bill!! The only downside is that the sandals are not my true size, as you can see through the pictures... I got the smallest size available which is US5, but I wish there were one size smaller! Even still, I still got a great pair of spring/summer sandals! I can't wait to rock them with some other spring/summer outfits in the near future!

Another thing I really love about this outfit is how well the over-sized blazer goes with the low-high sheer skirt! Plus, I was very surprised that it doesn't really make me look short, either! This is totally a new way to wear a blazer! I am quite pleased with this new discovery because I have rarely seen people who style up an over-sized blazer in the way I did, which creates "uniqueness'-- my motto!

Did you like the way how I paired up the over-sized blazer? Hope you did :)

It's All About Femininity.

POLKADOT PEPLUM TOP & CAT EYE SUNNIES: Urban Outfitters (UO SUNNIES HERE)

NEON PENCIL SKIRT: Forever 21

CRYSTAL COLLAR NECKLACE: Nasty Gal

SHEER SOCKS: Gifted from my mom

COLOR BLOCK WEDGES: Qupid via Lulu's.com

WATCH: Nordstrom

In today's blog I want to start with a BIG thank you to my mom for such a lovely pair of ankle socks. She sent me even more than these, so hopefully I can showcase them in the near future! Though I have several kinds of ankle socks, these are definitely one of my favorites because they are simply adorable, and their feminine details ( especially the tiny triple bows in the back!) add an extra cute-factor to my look. I am totally in love with the sheer fabric as well! Thanks, Mom!!!!!!!

Today's overall look is focused on creating a sophisticated lady style, using a lot of items that enhance and emphasize the feminine figure. The polkadot peplum top is definitely a head-turner. It's very elegant when seen either from the front and back. This top is very versatile, and you could use it to either dress up or down! UO sells a variety of peplum tops that can help you catch attention like mine!  Today's look catches my eye with its contrast -- the blouse and accessories are subdued, while the skirt and socks/shoes are colorful, fun, and playful.

When it came to my hair, I decided that a sideways straight hair style with a head band is effortless but still stylish enough to make a perfect feminine look. How long do you think does it take to achieve? Only 10 seconds! Comb your hair, bring it to the side, and put on whatever head band you like! How easy! :) This hairstyle is my hairstyling savior when I don't have time to do my hair!

Hope you like/love my look! <3

Hi my lovely readers! Happy Friday again! I am going out for dinner with my friend tonight at my favorite Japanese restaurant, so I am very very excited. Due to my busy schedule, I was unable to go there for such a looooong time!!! Hope you, too, are planning many nice things to do for your Friday night!

_______________________________________

This photos were taken a few weeks ago by Oveth , a Seattle-based photographer. He lives in Bellingham, but he came down to Seattle for an interview with a model agency. I am very happy that he reached out to me to collaborate on this photoshoot. I really enjoyed the photoshoot with him and am especially pleased with how the photographs came out. We didn't particularly select the locations in advance, but my outfit and the scenery  are nicely coordinated with the background.

I had never owned a camo jacket until I found this amazing two-tone jacket at Urban Outfitters (Similar). I'd been searching for several months, but I always ended up not being able to find the ideal one, so just look at this cool camo jacket I got! All that time searching  really paid off, dontcha think? Just putting it on gives a cool edginess to my look! In addition, I really love how the Camo jacket really goes together with my red lipstick! I believe it is one of my favorite combinations!
Since the camo jacket has a really outstanding pattern, I wanted to style the inner clothes very simple but still fun and edgy! I never tried to pair the bustier/bralet (Similar) in this kind of way (to wear it over a top), and I really like how it creates a different look of "jean-on-jean" outfit.

Also, lucite heeled shoes are SO in vogue right now. I just gotta say, I LOVE THESE CRAZY BOOTS soooo much! When I found them online at Charlotte Russe ( YES! They are ONLY available online & you can buy them HERE!), I couldn't help but buy them because they are simply AWESOME! Whenever I wear them, people just look at the shoes and pay me compliments, which makes me super duper happy! I paired my new H&M clear earrings with this outfit to match up with those booties as well :)

Thanks again, Oveth for the awesome photo shoot!
Hope you like/love my camo look~ <3
HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!

Pastel Colors to Brighten The Season

JEAN JK: H&M  |  MINT SHEER ASYMMETRY TOP: TOPSHOP  |  BELT: F21  |  BIG FLOWER PRINTED SKIRT& BAG: Thrifted  |  POLKA-DOTTED ANKLE SOCKS: Gifted from my mom |  PASTEL PUMPS: JustFab  | NAVY BOW HAIR CLIP: American Apparel

Happy Friday my lovely readers! What kind of awesome plans do you have for TIGF?

Now... When was the last time I wore REALLY girly style? Yea, it's quite some time!!!  The ladies reading out there may understand that you can feel extra feminine just by wearing a skirt and curling your hair style!

When I first saw this lovely flowered print skirt at a local thrifted store, I just fell in love with it. Just look at how those bright pink flowers stand out! Its length was quite long on me when I tried it on, yet I couldn't resist buying it. After, I took it to a tailor to make it THE PERFECT skirt for myself, and you can see how well it came out! As you may know, higher waist styles are in again, and I really like how the belt complements the skirt. I paired the skirt with this lovely minty asymmetrical top from TOPSHOP and added the pastel heels from JustFab. I was really pleasantly surprised with how the bright colors play off each other, and feel that the whole ensemble turned out really cute and so fitting for spring! The day was a little chilly, so I added an H&M cropped jean jacket and polka-dotted ankle socks! These socks were sent to me from Japan a couple of months ago (thanks, Mom!) and I just LOVE them so much! The best thing about them is that they are not too plain but also not such a conspicuous design either, so I can wear them with any style if I wanna add some spring to my step.

And don't forget the accessories! Doesn't the bow hair clip add just the right amount of innocent and cute? I really think SO! I didn't intentionally match its color up with the jean jacket, but it turned out to be a match made in heaven! I must say that cured hair and bow hair accessory is the best combination if you are going after a girly-looking hairstyle! Hopefully I can show you more of "how to use the bow hair clip" with my future outfits because there are TONS of ways to style it up!!

Hope you like/love my look <3
Again, HAPPY FRIDAY everyone!

Peachy Sunday at The Park with Mirrored Sunnies

MIRRORED SUNNIES: Purchased at Red Light Vinatage & Costume  |  CORAL SPRING KNIT & NEON STRAPPY SANDALS: H&M  |  BLACK JUMPSUIT, ROUNDED EARRINGS, CHAIN NECKLACE & FRINGED BAG: Forever 21  |  WHITE LACE SCRUNCHIE: Daiso

Good day, my lovely readers! Hope you all had a fabulous weekend!

Speaking of fabulous weekends, on a recent Sunday, I spent some quality time at Green Lake with my best friend, Jessica, who is a very kind, lovely, and enthusiastic woman who just happens to also be a skilled photographer! We went there to take some shots of my spring outfits. The weather was absolutely perfect and we had a lot of fun taking pictures!! After we finished shooting, we sat down on the grass and chatted about a variety of things! Every time I meet here, our conversations are always simulating, and at the end I always feel like I received a bunch of energy and courage just by hanging out with her!! It had been a while since we last got together due to my busy schedule, so it was a wonderful chance to take a break, reconnect, and have her shoot some photos of me :)

______________________________________________________

And now, onto the goods...
I got this beautiful coral spring/summer knit from H&M, and I just can't help but love it! It is really versatile and goes with mostly anything, doncha think? I can wear it with jeans, shorts, maxis, skirts... the list goes on and on! For this outfit, I used a hair tie on the side to shorten its length and balance out the ensemble. Underneath, I threw on a comfy jumpsuit, to which I pulled up the hems to make it more fitting for the warming weather.

Those H&M neon strappy sandals you can't take your eyes off of? Yeah, I snagged those last year as a trendy item, and they do surprisingly well to harmonize with the outfit and make it look nice from any angle. Add to it the mirrored ssunglasses -- Just simply putting them on can add style to almost any look. I am extremely pleased with my new shades!!!!! You can't deny it, they add the cool factor to a sizzling outfit!

Ahhhhhh, I really want more mirrored sunglasses...!!!!! haha

Hope you love/like my peachy outfit and my new sunnies!

Hello lovely readers~!!!!!
Can you believe it's been almost two months since the last post?!
I am very sorry for not being able to update my blog till now. Life has been hella busy. As time goes on life seems tougher and more unforgiving, especially if you live in a different country. But I am keeping my spirits up and I really hope things will be improving as much as I anticipate! But that is a story for another time...
Hopefully you've been doing well, and now you can look forward to reading my posts more often!!!

My life is all about fashion, and I've decided to follow my dream in America no matter what happens. So no more excuses! I will definitely push myself harder to keep updating my blog more often so that I can share my styles with other people all over the world!!!!!
WISH ME LUCK!!!!

Now that we are talking about fashion these photos were actually taken a few months ago, and I should clarify that  this really isn't for a spring look. Still, I really love this look and the photos came out just how I wanted them to, so even if they are a little out of season I really wanted to share them. More recently, Seattle's weather has been quite pleasant, and I am really happy about it. Of course, I took advantage of the bright weather to shoot some nice spring shots of my outfits so stay tunes!!

This look is one of my favorite all-black outfits, although I am more of a person who really adores colors no matter what season it is. I really love how the long cardi and the biker jacket actually rock well together. I had never tried to combine those two items so I was very surprised at how it turned out. Like I said, I love colors so I added a splash of color to this look. The Jeffrey Campbell Spike Litas did a great job for adding edgy taste to the look. To top if off, my Rolling Stones mesh cap is definitely the eye-catchy item of this look!

Hope you liked my all black look!

P.S. I chopped my hair so I don't have my lovely purple ombre hair anymore, yet I will soon change my hair color! I am super duper thrilled with my new hairrrrrr!

Slim Lines, Statement Pumps

I was given this "Mandie Lace Dress" from a Singapore clothing line brand "Tracyeinny" back in December, and I decided to create 5 different looks using this dress. I promised to tell more about the inspiration behind each look, so I am posting about look #2!! By the way, the picture below is the 5 different looks if  interested...

DRESS: Tracyeinny  |  FEATHER EARRINGS: Urban Outfitters  |  BELT: FOREVER 21  |  PASTEL PURPLE PUMPS: JustFabulous

Compared to the first look, look #2 is going for more of seductive feeling because I wanted it to fit for hitting the clubs or going to a party. I like this dress since it accents sleek lines when looked at the side, but has an mixed-up grace when viewed from the front and back.

I put up my hair and teased my bangs, to keep things mysterious. Wearing the black belt balances the whole look and the feather dangling earrings also balances top and bottom to frame my face. I chose those pastel purple platform pumps to draw your eyes down from the dress and toward my feet, which showcases my legs while not being too colorful to distract from the dress.

Overall, with the sleek lines of the dress, the pastel purple heels, and my bare shoulders and arms, the effects make you forget that I am 'petite'!!!!

So how about my look #2? Are you read to try it out when you go to the club? I am sure you will be a hit!!!!

Red Hot Valentine

LEOPARD COAT: H&M  |  HAT: Forever 21  |  BOYFRIEND JACKET, WHITE TOP, and SHORTS: Thrifted  |  FUR SCARF: Japan  |  BAG: ALDO  |  RED WEDGES: EMODA

Helllllllllo my lovely readers!
Tomorrow is Valentine's Day!!!!!! Have you decided what you are gonna wear on your special day? :)

Yesterday I gave you an idea for a V-day look (you can click HERE to check out the outfit!) and as promised, here is another V-day inspired look.

To start with, can I tell you something first?
I JUST LOVE THIS LOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would pick this look as my Valentine's Day outfit over the first one, even though I love them both!

I really love how the leopard coat gives this outfit a sweet and soft feeling, and then once I take off the coat, the look amazingly adopts an edgy and sophisticated feel. Since I am so in love with RED as color, I have many pairs of RED shoes and was having a hard time choosing the best shoes to complement this look. And guess what? I have to say that the choice of these stunning wedges from EMODA (a Japanese Brand) was completely right-on. On top of that, you have no idea how crazy I am for HATS!!!!! Especially during the winter time, my outfits aren't complete without a hat. So I styled it up with this burgundy hat as usual to add some more Valentine's feeling. I also love how these red shoes perfectly match with my red lips!!!!

Sooooo how did you like both of my Valentine's Day inspired look? Yay or Nay?
Hopefully I gave you some ideas through both of these looks and I wish you a wonderful and lovely Valentine's Day!!!!!!!

V-Day Pink Passion

FUR COAT & BELT: Japan  |  JACKET, BRACELET and Earrings: H&M  |  BUSTIER and SKIRT: Forever 21  |  WATCH: ALDO  |  RINGS: ASOS  |  CLUTCH BAG: Express  |  PINK BLAIR PUMPS: Dolce Vita

Hi my lovely readers!!! Hope your week has treated you well so far!!!!

As you all know there will be an exciting and sweet holiday coming in a few days!! That's riiight!!!!

It's Valentine's Day!!!!

Are you guys reading this excited yet? or are you feeling a little stressed? After I came to the States, I learned to love this holiday just because in America I don't have to worry so much about what presents I have to give. You see, in Japan, Valentine's Day is about girls giving to guys, and so all the pressure is on the ladies! This made my Valentin's Days in Japan were always either really busy or very nerve-racking! Haha

Now, since I don't have a bf right currently, I don't have any plans to go out on V-day, but I couldn't resist the chance to style up two different kinds of looks for Valentine's Day to give you some inspiration, and today's post is the first of those two looks!

Since V-day is full of sweets, I wanted my look to be sweet as well. That's why this look is just oozing of cuteness and girly taste! I tried to keep it simple this time, but I am pleased with how my new hound's-tooth skirt from F21 sill manages to catch your eye.  Plus, wearing Dolce Vita Pink Blair Pumps definitely makes a great valentine's statement while keeping the look fun and flattering. Heart shapes are of course a symbol of Valentine's Day, right? So I wear heart-shape earrings and necklace. I went with a distressed hairstyle to balance it out, because i didn't want things to look too formal.

Overall, I think on V-day you want to show off your sense of style, but keep a little flair and not be afraid to let your hair down when things warm up!

Hope I was able to give you some ideas of what you might want to wear on V-day and hope you enjoy/like/love my first V-day inspired look!!!!!

I will post another different look tomorrow so stay tuned :)

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERYONE !!!!!!!!!!!

Asian Girly Chic

COAT, DENIM MINI SKIRT & KNITTED BEANIE: Japan  |  LEOPARD TOP & FRINGED BAG: F21  |  BELT: Thrifted  |  WATCH, GLOVES & SUNNIES: ALDO  |  SHOES: Sam Eledman ZOE  | NECKLACE: H&M

Today's style is inspired by the ladies on the streets of Tokyo who never miss a chance to impress with their style. With that being said, I am also from Tokyo and today's look definitely represents where I come from.

One of my personal favorite looks is something styled with a denim mini skirt. I've seen so many people are wearing jean shorts but have never seen them in a jean "skirt". I really wonder why.... I especially love layering some cute stockings with a denim skirt! Maybe it's just me, but I feel I always look more charming whenever I wear a mini, just like this outfit. Originally this denim skirt was a long length, which I really didn't like,  so I cut some inches off to shorten it and now I can rock it much better. A nice job, if I do say so myself! lol What do ya think?

But this outfit isn't only about the skirt. I totally love the leopard top, too!  It's just super cute, isn't it?  It can go with anything! You can never get enough of  leopard prints, right?  Also, I am totally in love with these ZOE heels by Sam Edelman; they look amazing at any angle!!! I always get a lot of compliments every time I wear these babies <3 Plus, these fabulous  ZOEs somehow make my legs look sleeker and longer!!!!  You can buy yours here and here

I added the pop of color with gloves and a bag to make the outfit more fun and appealing. You might  have already noticed that I frequently love playing around with textures, so this time I mixed the leather gloves (Similar ones here) and the fringed bag.  I also was quite happy with  how the gold accessories complemented so well with my look without drawing away attention!

If you have a mini that you haven't worn for a while, maybe it's time to show if off again with some colored tights or some printed leggings!
